We are back at it this week as FC Dallas returns to action this weekend.

Calm before the storm | FC

This was posted late last week but its still worth the read if you haven't seen it yet as FCD players discuss the bye week and how it came at the perfect time.

Gonzalez goes out on loan and picks up win for Pittsburgh |

So this was news to me this morning but Jesse Gonzalez got sent out on loan at some point last week to Pittsburgh in the USL. He played 90 minutes over the weekend and helped pick up a big win. Sounds like this may have been a one-game loan though.

Hollingshead fitting in everywhere for FCD |

Taking his last game out of the picture here, I've been more impressed with Ryan Hollingshead over the last two months than I was early in the season.

What you need to know from Week 23 |

Matt Doyle is off this week from his recap and Simon Borg and Greg Lalas step up in his place. Lots of little notes from a very busy weekend in MLS that saw some big matches on Sunday.

Barrett hurts himself in goal celebration |

Even though the Sounders came out firing against LA yesterday with a goal in the first minute, the celebration was cut short when Barrett (who scored) injured himself. Yep, when it rains it pours.

NY fans get in bar fight before rivalry match |

Some ugly stuff between the Red Bull and NYCFC fans before yesterday's match that saw Red Bulls win (again).

RIP to the "Rapids Way" | Burgundy Wave

Even when things are bad for FCD this season, just look at the Rapids in what they are dealing with. I still don't get how FCD has struggled against this team in 2015 but whatever. Fans there aren't pleased with how things are going and they have every right to be upset if you ask me.

Diskerud has been bad and NYCFC should have sold him | Hudson River Blue

If you really want an honest take, NYCFC is just a poorly constructed roster. I think Mix would do fine elsewhere in this league but there is just a bad collection of players around him outside of the big three DPs there.

State of MLS, 12 weeks to go | Sounder at Heart

It is time once again for the annual playoff push chances. So far, FCD is doing well to get into the playoffs.
