It was great seeing a full Toyota Stadium last night as the US downed Honduras.

Any coach will tell you that if you reach the level of coaching a national team, it is truly different than any other experience.
Oh yeah, there is still club action going on this week as FCD gets ready for Orlando. But the Dallas manager did give his take as to what it has been like having four national teams in town this week.

We always wonder how veteran players like Steven Gerrard will do in MLS. He seems eager to give the league a go here and I wonder how he will respond with the travel more than anything else. That took David Beckham a while to get used to.
Another aging veteran that is coming to MLS that I am excited about discussed his new club and all of that fun stuff yesterday as well.
I still laugh a bit at how upset Dallas fans have been getting this season over things. Between Chicago, Colorado and Philly, it could be way...way worse. Truthfully though, I'd put Chicago slightly below Philly and Colorado in this 'who's got it worse' order right now.
Its bold with a giant A in the middle of it. Meh. I am happy to see the MetroStars' old colors reappear though.

A packed Toyota Stadium seemed did give the US a good home field advantage last night as they downed Honduras 2-1.
Just the quote that Clint Dempsey said it was good to be home to win. Dang, had he only come to Dallas instead of Seattle.
The US didn't look their best in the opener but I almost think they'll go the route of the women's team during the group phase of this competition and not look amazing until they reach the knockout round.
It did look as though Clint Dempsey put this team on his back and helped guide them to a gritty three points.
