FCD ends July with a perfect record.

Time to start another Monday off on the heels of a big win.

Acosta continues to improve in the midfield |

He is growing with confidence with each and every game. For a player that is 20-years old, that is huge to see.

Confidence is there with everyone following fifth straight win |

I don't think it is just a high level of confidence with this group, it is also a high level of team chemistry that we're seeing play through as well.

Pirlo makes his debut and other thoughts from Week 21 |

There is some good talk about Andrea Pirlo and Didier Drogba in this league but the big point comes in on FCD and how the youth is stealing the show here these days. Good to see folks realize what Victor Ulloa and Kellyn Acosta did to Portland's quality midfield on Saturday.

Pirlo shows his quality in debut |

Pirlo finds passes that no one on the field can even dream about, NYCFC coach Jason Kreis said something along those lines and it was true yesterday in New York.

Montreal gets rights to sign Drogba |

Chicago had the first dibs on Drogba but Montreal came in and put down the cash to get his rights and now look to sign the Chelsea star.

Chicago acquire Gilberto from Toronto |

A wild couple of days for Chicago as they missed out on Drogba (no biggie as he wasn't a good fit there) and some how ended up with Toronto's Gilberto instead. I like that move a lot for them even though they are a place where DPs have basically gone to rot.

Gilberto was claimed off waivers | Waking The Red

Seriously, after falling out of favor in Brazil on loan, Toronto decided to just cut their losses with him instead of trading him to Chicago. Man.

MLS and Draft Kings deal should help build profile in America |

There have been some Draft Kings leagues with MLS for most of this season but now the two sides have a little partnership going on. That is good to see. I am a big fan of these types of fantasy sports right now and rather enjoy testing my knowledge of the league in this form.

US - Mexico match set for October 9 |

This one will be for all the marbles and a trip to Russia in 2017.
