MLS President releases statement on Minnesota stadium news |

The delay continues for Minnesota, which now sees a July 1 deadline come and go on their stadium plans. This thing will still get done in some form or fashion before long. MLS wants this market and this ownership group, so they'll find a way to make it happen.

The folks in Minnesota share their take on the stadium news, or lack there of. Funny to think that MLS has been so adamant about getting stadium plans firm and in place before expansion can happen in other markets but they seemed to have slipped up on this one.

Not only was it a goal in stoppage time but it was an own goal that ended the tournament for the Lady Lions. That is just heartbreaking.
