FC Dallas head coach Oscar Pareja
(The win) was big because of the results that we had gotten on the road recently. This gave us back some confidence. We needed to take points away and today was a great performance. The players showed a lot of energy and intensity. We executed the game plan the way we wanted and we are showing everybody that we are turning it around. We have games coming up at home where we want to get points, but today is a credit to this group of players because they did a great job.

On the offense and defense both performing at a high level…

Perfect. I think it’s a highlight for us as a group… completing games without allowing goals is very important for our central backs, for our full backs, even with the absences that we have had so far for international call-ups, the ones who are coming in and doing that job are doing a great job there. We are proud. We keep moving forward. We are thinking about DC already. The boys are committed with a game coming up at home. We are proud, but, humbly, we are going to keep working for what we want.
