FC Dallas vs San Jose Earthquakes: Squad Selection

Time put behind the past two losses and focus on taking down the Earthquakes.

Jean-Yves Ahern-USA TODAY Sports

It's been a rough couple of weeks for FC Dallas as they've started their five game road swing with two consecutive losses. Dallas is now on a three game winless streak, tying their longest in 2015 and as if those losses weren't bad enough, things are about to get a lot trickier for the club as they begin to lose players due to international call ups. Dallas will take on the San Jose Earthquakes at their newly minted Avaya Stadium where the Quakes are enjoying a 3-1-1 record at home, which does not bode well for Dallas as their road woes continue and are currently 2-3-1 away from Toyota Stadium.

As of this writing, Dallas' injury report is short but significant with Fabian Castillo listed. But Dallas will be without significant players this weekend as well with Blas Perez and Rolando Escobar both called up to play for Panama. Tesho Akindele was also called up to represent Canada in several upcoming World Cup Qualifiers. Thankfully, he will not have to miss any action this weekend. And to make matters even worse, Zach Loyd will also be out due to that red card he got last weekend and will be serving his suspension.

Fabian Castillo - hamstring injury

Danny Garcia - loan to Arizona United

Kellyn Acosta - U20 World Cup duty

Jesse Gonzalez - U20 World Cup duty

Blas Perez - international call up

Rolando Escobar - international call up

Zach Loyd - red card suspension

Same scenario as previous weeks. You are in charge of the club. The club desperately needs to pick up at least a point to get this five game road trip back on track. Do you try to figure out how to get three points out of this one? Get ultra conservative and grind out a point? Who are you going to put out there to end this three game winless streak? Tell us in the form below who would make your starting lineup and who will also make the trip out to the Bay Area.
