It feels like it has been a long time coming for rookie defender Otis Earle. After being drafted in the ladder stages of the first round in the 2015 SuperDraft, the full back failed to see the field for FC Dallas until this past Tuesday night in the US Open Cup win over Oklahoma City.
Now FC Dallas head coach Oscar Pareja has decided to send Earle out on loan to USL affiliate side Arizona United SC. He remains eligible for recall by FC Dallas at any point of the 2015 season.
Earle is the second player loaned from FC Dallas this season, joining Homegrown midfielder Danny Garcia in Arizona.
The big question a lot of folks continue to ask, is what took so long to get this loan done? Pareja seemed keen from my vantage point to keep Earle as long as he could in house to help him adjust to the physical demands of being a professional athlete.
