Our silly season 2015 edition has been fun so far. We've had rumors of Samuel Eto'o heading our way to Mauro Diaz headed to Spain and everything in between. Some of you may have caught the news from Univision that Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez is available and has been linked with MLS as a potential option.
I've dismissed it last summer when the disgruntled Mexican international was displaced at Manchester United, and there was some discussion about whether FC Dallas should make a run for him. While this could just be a bargaining chip to be played to get a bigger transfer fee and higher salary, MLS and FC Dallas would be foolish to not to pick up the phone and at least see what's going on.
Given that David Texeira has failed to look anything like a MLS striker as of late, the thought of Chicharito as a long term replacement for Blas Perez sounds wonderful.
What do you guys think? Just a silly rumor? Should Dallas make a run for the Little Pea?
