MLS Fantasy Manager: Week Six

FC Dallas players should be expecting big fantasy points this weekend against Colorado.

Bob Frid-USA TODAY Sports

We're really rolling now in MLS Fantasy Manager 2015. It's the sixth week and the first double-game week of the season. Don't overload on DGW guys for this week though, another DGW awaits next week. Lineup lock tonight at 9:00pm CT!

FC Dallas

FCD fantasy points were hard to come by last week unless you had Tesho Akindele. This week, however, the Hoops should be in for a good amount of points as lowly Colorado Rapids come to town. Colorado is scoreless through their first four games of the season. Three of those games being 0-0 draws, and one 2-0 loss to New England Revolution last weekend. I'd be extremely disappointed if FCD doesn't get three points Friday night.

Here's some guys to think about adding:

Chris Seitz $5.1 - Dan Kennedy is still recovering from his back injury, so Seitz will be in goal once again. Our defense won't give Colorado their goal of the season. I'm pretty confident in saying that. Clean sheet points!

Zach Loyd $7.8 - A little bit cheaper of an option than Matt Hedges, but will still get just as many, if not more, points than Hedges.

Blas Perez $9.3 - Perez is looking dangerous early on in the season. Colorado's defense isn't the best around. But, they have inly given up two goals so far this season. I'm still betting on Perez to get a goal or two in this one.

Two teams on a double-game week this week(Columbus Crew SC, Vancouver Whitecaps). Two teams on byes this week(Chicago Fire, Toronto FC). Two teams on DGWs next week(New York City FC, Philadelphia Union).

Here's some guys to think about adding:

Pedro Morales (VAN) $11.3 - Morales will most likely be the most captained player this week. He's definitely my captain. Vancouver is the hottest team in MLS at the moment. Morales is a big part of that. With two games this week, why would;t you have this guy on your team?

Sam Adekugbe (VAN) $6.1 - Adekugbe has been racking up the fantasy points with Vancouver. He's a cheap option on a good team that doesn't give up too many goals.

David Villa (NYCFC) $10.2 - Villa is back from s minor injury and ready to go. NYC is away to Philadelphia Union this week, but this add is more about next week. NYC plays two home games at Yankee Stadium next week. Villa is a great option to have. If you can, pick him up this week.

Bradley Wright-Phillips (NYRB) $10.9 - BWP has picked up right where he left off last season. He has two goals in three games and is in great form. He seems to be even better than last season.

Liam Ridgewell (POR) $8.3 - Portland will be at home to Orlando City SC this weekend. So far, Orlando has had a head time getting the ball in the net. The only guy who seems to score is Kaka. He needs help. Help will be hard to find this weekend in Portland.

Away goals

I haven't had a great start this year, but I'm slowly making my way up the boards. Hoping Vancouver jumps me up pretty high. Hopefully Jose Villarreal or Mike Grella play. Here's my squad for this week...
