The club formerly manned by Oscar Pareja comes into town on a horrendous streak of 600 minutes without scoring a goal, an 18 game winless streak dating back to the 2014 season and their last road victory came over a year ago (2-1 victory over the Vancouver Whitecaps on 4/5/2014). But as bad as things are for the Rapids, this side is very stingy on defense, having only conceded two goals the whole year. I wouldn't write them off as an easy three points at this stage.
So, same thing as last week: pick your best lineup. Who do you trot out there to claim the three points?
Some things to consider:
- Health of Diaz: I don't know any more information than the rest of you. I know (at the time of this writing) he went through 80% of the practice yesterday and was scheduled to do a full practice with the team today. He is still listed on the league's injury report. So have your best guess.
- Watson or Harris: Remember that Je-Vaughn hasn't played a full game yet and Harris is (slowly) getting acclimated to his new position. Do you let Harris continue to build on his confidence on a potentially easier side or get Watson in there as a more stable option?
Out (as of 4/7):
- Dan Kennedy (back spasms)
