Around MLS: Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez to MLS, Tissue Gate making headlines, and more

We talk about Ibrahimovic, Chicharito, Tissue Gate, and more as we look forward to week six.

Presse Sports-USA TODAY Sports

After five weeks of MLS action, FC Dallas is no longer at the top of the table. Vancouver Whitecaps are sitting pretty after an impressive win at home against the Los Angeles Galaxy. But, everyone is still talking about the Hoops after the incident with FCD head coach Oscar Pareja and Portland Timbers' head coach Caleb Porter. I'll get to that. But, what else is happening around MLS? Let's take a look.

Transfer rumors

I like to start out with a few transfer rumors if there are any (spoiler: there are always transfer rumors). Most recently, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Javier Hernandez have been linked to MLS.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is pursuing a US visa. Zlatan is traveling to the states at some point. Zlatan might be thinking of a move to MLS. Zlatan's contract at Paris Saint-Germain expires in 2016. Zlatan would most likely make the move when his contract expires. Zlatan could join MLS. Zlatan might just be traveling. Zlatan is the only one who knows. Zlatan is going to Zlatan.

The El Tri striker has been linked with a move to MLS before. He doesn't seem to have a future at Manchester United or Real Madrid, so naturally we link him to MLS.

The Daily Mail claims that Orlando City SC would like to bring Chicharito to Orlando and pair him with Kaka. That'd be pretty scary. Orlando has already been linked with a move for Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli.

I don't see this happening. Jaiver Hernandez will probably stay in Europe somewhere. But, if he does want to make a move to MLS, I hope FC Dallas goes all out to get this guy. He's a talent and will get butts in the seats at Toyota Stadium. Not to mention the amount of merchandise sales FCD would generate. He would be worth the money to bring him here.

Tissue Gate

Shall we talk about it? We shall.

After FCD's first loss of the season, it appeared Porter wouldn't shake Pareja's hand. This is true. But, we've learned why. Pareja attempted to hand Porter a tissue, sending a message that coaches need to whining to referees. Alexi Lalas talked to Pareja and tweeted out a few quotes I'd like to share.

So far, all I've heard is that everyone loves this interchange between the coaches. I love it as well.

Amazing how none of the major sports media is talking about this. Imagine if Dirk Nowitzki gave a tissue to LeBron James after a game instead of shaking hands. That would be EVERYWHERE.
