Arizona United SC moves to 2-0-0 with win over LA Galaxy II

Dennis Chin and Long Tan score in club's second victory of 2015.

AZ United SC

FC Dallas affiliate Arizona United SC moved to 2-0-0 on the 2015 season Thursday night with a 2-1 win over LA Galaxy II. AZ United got a second half equalizer from Dennis Chin and a stoppage-time game-winner from Long Tan to down Los Dos in Carson, California.

Former FCD Homegrown, Jonathan Top stepped up and curled the corner kick to the far post. Tyler Ruthven headed the ball back into the box, and Chin redirected the ball into the back of the net for his second goal of the season.

AZ United got the winning goal off Tan thanks to some strong wing play. Chin dribbled through several Galaxy II players on the left side before curling a ball into the box for Tan, who hammered it into the back of the net.

The long Galaxy II goal came in the first half on a ridiculous run from Galaxy Homegrown Bradford Jamieson IV in the 19th minute. Jamieson took a long ball on a counter attack by Los Dos and made a couple touches before slotting a ball behind AZ keeper Carl Woszczynski.

Up next for AZ United is expansion side the Austin Aztex in the third match of a four-match road trip to start the 2015 USL season. The match will be played on April 11 in Austin.
