The week is quickly coming to a close here as FC Dallas has one more day in town before they head west to Portland. We have plenty to discuss with that game but first lets get into the morning links.

Posts like this make me realize that sometimes we have it pretty dang good as FCD fans.
A lot of folks were asking last weekend about Kenny Cooper and why he wasn't with the team in Frisco. It turns out, there has been some contract issues between Coop and the Sounders. Now it appears he could be heading to Canada.
The old 'team loyalty' thing is pretty thin in MLS these days. A guy like Zach Loyd are FCD's longest standing member.
With MLS signing deals overseas for TV rights, they're starting to stretch their reach a bit. But can they win people over is the key question. Then again, they have that same battle here as well.
After last year's sad story of Luca passing away, it is pretty cool to hear that AJ and his wife are expecting another child.
I have to admit, I am always a sucker for things like this. Some of these kits are pretty cool. I could see FCD being a team that would actually be bold enough to put Twitter handles on the back of player jerseys for a game at some point.
