FC Dallas vs Colorado Rapids: By The Numbers

Last depressing post before we move on. Promise!

Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

I won't dive too much into the details given how painful this match was, but here are just some interesting numbers that I came across.

1 - Dallas now only has one point in three matches since Mauro Diaz went down injured. (Credit to Scott Hiney for pointing that out.)

1 - First time that the Rapids won by four goal on the road in MLS play.

2 - This ties the worst home loss in Frisco since 2007, which was a 4-0 defeat to DC United. (Credit to Steve Hunt for pointing that out.)

5 - Those goals ensured that no team in MLS history has started the season with 5 consecutive scoreless games.

11 - For whatever reason this seems to be Dallas' magic number on shot attempts. This is the fourth time in six games that they've registered 11 attempts on goal. Random.

2012 - This is the first time FCD have been shut out in consecutive homes games since May of 2012. 0-2 to Colorado on 5/6/2012 and 0-2 to Seattle on 5/9/2012. Ouch.
