FC Dallas vs San Jose: TV, live stream, time and how to watch online

The season kicks off here this weekend folks!

Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

The new season is here! FC Dallas is back in action for the 2015 season as they host Western Conference rivals San Jose Earthquakes.

FC Dallas notes:

Injuries

Out: Coy Craft (shoulder), Stephen Keel (right foot), Kellyn Acosta (knee)

International duty

Alejandro Zendejas - U17 national team

Defense ready. According to the club's game notes, Zach Loyd is the longest‐tenured player on the FC Dallas roster. He has appeared in 140 matches for Dallas since 2010 April 10, 2010. Loyd started 130 of those matches and has logged 11,427 minutes, which ranks eighth all‐time.

Point to the future. Victor Ulloa had played only nine minutes in MLS in three years before 2014. Last season, Oscar Pareja leaned on Ulloa heavily in Dallas' central midfield - starting the now 23‐year‐old in 33 consecutive matches across all competitions. Ulloa finished the regular season with 2,365 minutes under his belt. He also played 256 minutes in Dallas' three MLS Cup Playoff matches.

Key player for FCD: Mauro Diaz. Last March, Diaz was spectacular. Now that he is healthy again after a disappointing finish to the 2014 season, Diaz looks to move the needle once again for FCD.

Biggest question: How much will we see Zach Loyd and Tesho Akindele?

The preseason was limited for both players but both are healthy and both look good to play here this weekend. The key matter is whether or not both start. Loyd should get the nod in the middle of the defense in place of a healthy Walker Zimmerman but Akindele should be one of the first options off the bench for Oscar Pareja.

Match date/time: Saturday 3/7, 7:30 PM

Venue: Toyota Stadium, Frisco, TX

TV: TXA 21
