Now that we know a new MLS season will kickoff this weekend, lets get down to some morning links.

I'm sure Tesho Akindele will have his moments in 2015, but I'm with Pareja, there won't be a massive sophomore slump in the MLS Rookie of the Year.

Here is the press release from the league on the CBA matter.

A 2-1 win last night for DCU but the Black and Red failed to advance to the semifinals. Bummer considering that DCU was one of the top seeds in the quarterfinals.

When will players get free agency |

As it stands now, they have a small...tiny version of free agency. We always knew they weren't going to outright get free agency this week but I think they term baby steps is appropriate here.

Naturally, no one is going to be 100% behind this thing. Players never really get what they want in these things.
