Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

March is nearly over here and FC Dallas still remains on top of the standings throughout the league. Time to get into some morning links before we continue to break down the draw against Seattle.

What's up with Mauro? | Dallas Morning News

All good questions to ask about FCD and Mauro Diaz again. Before it was with his relationship with Oscar Pareja, and now it is coming down to how the club is managing his playing time. In all honesty, I really have no issue with them managing his playing time considering the surgeries he had last year.

Dallas Cup opener for U18s a draw |

One bit of news from this one was that HGP midfielder Alex Zendejas went the full 90 in the draw. Keep an eye on this team and the group in the GA Cup folks, there are some talented kids on both squads.

Hard-earned point against Seattle |

Considering both sides were without key players and FCD played down a man for nearly 80 minutes, a draw was okay.

Acosta admits foul was rough |

It was good to hear from Kellyn after the game about the red card.

The struggles of playing against a short-handed team |

The one thing this piece really strikes me with is that no one is truly talking about how good the FCD defense may just be here this season.

More thoughts from Week four in MLS |

Another Matt Doyle weekend recap. Just like our game, a lot of the game this weekend were rather tight and in some cases rather dull.

Revs discussing a stadium (again) | The Bent Musket

I feel like the Revs front office just loves to play with this card that they'll eventually build a stadium for the Revs. I also firmly believe that if they did ever get their own digs, they'd be one of those teams that would regularly come close to selling out each week.

DCU unveils new look for their mascot | Washington Post

I fear the day that the Hunts or someone in the marketing department at FCD decides to re-do Tex Hooper.

NYCFC misses Villa badly in first loss |

I also missed him badly on my Fantasy Manager team...not sure what I was thinking with bringing him on this week.

Alright, that appears to be it for now. Nothing wrong with the links being a tad FCD heavy to start the week off. What do you all think?
