FC Dallas remains unbeaten on the season after drawing the Seattle Sounders 0-0 on Saturday night.

In front of a crowd of 18,333, Dallas was reduced to ten men early as Kellyn Acosta was issued a red card in the 16th minute. Acosta went in to a 50-50 ball rather carelessly against Andy Rose in the middle of the field.

Fabian Castillo would cause some issues though in the first half as he forced a couple Sounder fouls around the penalty box. In the 29th minute, Castillo dribbled through three Sounder defenders before being brought down. On the free kick, Michel was able to beat the Seattle wall but his shot on goal went just over the the out stretched arm of Stefan Frei.

Seattle nearly found a breakthrough early on in the second half on a cross from Leo Gonzalez. The Sounders' left back sent in a whipped ball to the back post that Andy Rose got a head on but the ball would go just wide of Chris Seitz's goal.

Castillo nearly found the back of the net in the 56th minute on a counter attack. He blew by two Seattle defenders before firing off a shot on Frei's goal that would go just wide.

In the 72nd minute the Sounders almost caught Dallas on a counter attack. Lamar Neagle sent a ball that sliced the Dallas back line to the run of Chad Barrett but the veteran attacker couldn't find a way to put the ball on frame thanks to a good effort by Seitz.

FC Dallas returns to action next week as they hit the road for their first West coast road trip as they take on the Portland Timbers.
