Chris Seitz's penalty kick save is nominated for MLS Save of the Week

New, 2 comments

The big save on Dom Dwyer is one of five nominees this week.

The good times keep coming for FC Dallas here after their 3-1 win over Sporting Kansas City. Yesterday, Fabian Castillo was nominated for Goal of the Week (go vote!) and now goalkeeper Chris Seitz is up for Save of the Week.

Seitz's big second half penalty kick save on Dom Dwyer is one of five nominees this week. Seitz came up huge on the play as he correctly guessed where Dwyer would go on the penalty kick.

The FCD keeper has some tough competition though this week as he goes up against Houston's Tyler Deric's save on Orlando City DP Kaka, one of New England's Bobby Shuttleworth's many saves against NYCFC, Josh Saunders of NYCFC stop on New England's Juan Agudelo, and finally Toronto keeper Joe Bendick's stop on Columbus forward Kei Kamara.

Head over to the league's website to vote as early and often as you can here! The winner will be announced on Friday.
