Fabian Castillo's second half goal is up for MLS Goal of the Week

The first goal of the season for Fabian Castillo is one of the top goals from Week 2.

Fans were eager to see FC Dallas midfielder Fabian Castillo get going here after signing a contract extension before the 2015 season. Out of nowhere on Saturday against Sporting Kansas City in the team's 3-1 win over their new conference rivals, Castillo did just that in a counter-attack goal to help seal the win.

Castillo is now one of five players that are nominated for MLS Goal of the Week. The play that got it all started came off a long ball from Michel out of the Dallas defensive end to Ryan Hollingshead. The second half substitute then played a perfectly weighted one-time ball to the feet of Castillo, who would then make a play around Sporting keeper Luis Marin.

The young Colombian's goal is up against some tough competition this week as he faces off against goals from Designated Players Innocent Emeghara (San Jose Earthquakes), David Villa (New York City FC) and Fanendo Adi (Portland Timbers), and from Alan Gordon (LA Galaxy).

Be sure to vote early and often for Castillo here!
