MLS Fantasy Manager: Week Two

FC Dallas welcomes Sporting Kansas City to Toyota Stadium this weekend.

It's the second week of MLS Fantasy Manager 2015, how did you do in the first? Lineups lock at 6:00 p.m. CT on Friday!

FC Dallas

FCD will be at home this weekend again. This time they will face a much better squad in Sporting Kansas City. However, they will be without Matt Besler, who received a red card last weekend against New York Red Bulls.

Here's some guys to think about adding:

Blas Perez $9.1 - Perez was one of the better players last week. Other than winning the game for FCD with some last minute heroics, he did what he usually does -- annoy defenses and hold up play for others to join the attack. With SKC coming in with a makeshift back line, hopefully he can take advantage.

Fabian Castillo $9.5 - This is a game Castillo should dominate. Chance Myers is still injured for SKC at right back and Besler is out. He should give them fits.

Michel $9.0 - FCD struggled on set pieces with Michel on the bench to start the game. I might be wrong, but I'm thinking since SKC is a good attacking team and because of our struggles last week, Michel will start and we'll see a 4-2-3-1 formation again with him taking all the set pieces.

MLS

No double-game weeks again. That won't start for a few weeks.

Here's come guys to think about adding:

Clint Dempsey (SEA) $11.2 - Dempsey was the leading point-getter in fantasy manager last week. He might be again this week. Seattle is at home again, this time against San Jose. The scoreline will probably look a lot like last weekend for Seattle.

Chris Schuler (RSL) $8.6 - Real Salt Lake shutout Portland on the road last week thanks to some heroics from Nick Rimando. This week will be a different story. I think there will be another shutout for RSL, but they won't need as much help from Rimando. Schuler and Jamison Olave should do just fine.

Tyrone Mears (SEA) $7.1 - Mears stood out in the Seattle game last week. He defended well, and attacked well. Mears fills the void DeAndre Yedlin left. Like Dempsey said, he's an upgrade. Especially in the quality of crosses.

Diego Fagundez (NE) $7.0 - New England travels to New York to take on New York City FC at Yankee Stadium this weekend. Fagundez looks to be back in the picture, and if he recaptures his form from two years ago, he's a good option to have on your team at just $7.0.

Benny Feilhaber (SKC) $9.2 - KC has a great attack with Feilhaber, Graham Zusi, Dom Dwyer, and others joining in. It will be hard to stop them this weekend. Feilhaber was great last weekend against NYRB.
