Squad Selection: FC Dallas vs Sporting Kansas City

Blue Hell is coming to Texas, what do you do?

Peter G. Aiken-USA TODAY Sports

Color me biased, but this FC Dallas-Sporting KC matchup is the one that I'm most looking forward to this weekend. We have two great footballing/soccering minds in Oscar Pareja and Peter Vermes going head to head. We have Mister Sydney Leroux versus Matt Hedges. We have Victor Ulloa matched up with Benny Feilhaber. We have Mauro Diaz against Uri Rosell ??? and Blas Perez up against Matt Besler and Ike Opara. See what I mean? There's plenty to be excited for this one this Saturday. Oh, and lest not forget that SKC is now in the Western Conference giving this one a little extra significance early in the season.

FC Dallas comes in having salvaged three points in a last minute winner from Blas Perez last Saturday against the San Jose Earthquakes. FCD will look to build on their sloppy play and try to dictate the tempo in this one and secure another three points at home.

Meanwhile SKC comes into town with an estimated 800-1000 traveling crowd and will look to reward their fans with some better play than they offered up last Sunday. However, Kansas City will be without their DP centerback Matt Besler having been sent off late in the match against the RBNY.

According the official injury report (as of 3/10/15), here are the known players who will miss this one:

Out:

Coy Craft - left shoulder surgery

Stephen Keel - right foot surgery

Alex Zendejas - U17 duty

Same rules as always: You are in charge of the team. We want to hear what you'll do, not what you'll think Oscar Pareja will do. Let us know below and don't forget to sound off in the comments!
