Hat tip to the fellas over at Sounder at Heart for this idea. Just like them, I can't promise this will be a weekly series but as long as there are interesting numbers to present, I'll pass them along. So here are all the good, bad and whatever numbers that I came across. Enjoy.
3: With three shots on goal from Blas Perez, Dallas is now 3-1-2 all time when Perez takes three or more shots on goal.
4: Fourth straight season opener win for FC Dallas
5: Blas Perez' fifth career goal in six starts against San Jose
7:
.@superraton7's goal on Saturday was the 7th stoppage-time game-winner for FCD at Toyota Stadium. Last one was Julian De Guzman in 2012.

52%: Possession was second highest on MLS Opening Weekend for teams who picked up three points.
74%: However, Dallas' passing completon was second worst among teams that won in Week 1. Consolation is that Houston was the worst with 73%. #WeAllHateHouston
15,236: Attendance was low. In fact, it was one of three opening day games that didn't sell out and was the second worst attended game for opening weekend. (DC was last with only 11,592)
