Wednesday was National Signing Day around the college sports landscape. While most of the big names signing with Universities across the land were in the football variety, college soccer too had a big day as well.

FC Dallas academy players signed their letters of intent yesterday, with over 50 boys and girls out of the FC Dallas camp heading to college.

Highlighted in the U-18s for FC Dallas were midfielder Aaron Meyer, who is currently training with the first team in Florida. He signed with Utah Valley University. Another big name to look out for is FCD's continuation in the University of North Carolina pipeline with Martin Salas. It is pretty impressive to think that fellow academy alum Coy Craft was once expected to go to UNC as well.

Former FCD manager Schellas Hyndman was able to snag two FCD academy players as well with Alex Radilla and Christian Ramierz both committing to Grand Canyon University.

Other U-18 signings include: Eric Davies (Saint Louis University), Ryan Barlow (University of Denver), Charlie Furrer (Stanford), and Phillip Ponder (SMU).
