FC Dallas vs San Antonio Scorpions: streaming, previews, lineup, prediction and game thread

FC Dallas hopes to end the preseason with a win in the Alamo City.

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

The battle of Texas kicks off as FC Dallas ends their preseason in the Deeproot Funds Cup against NASL champions San Antonio Scorpions.

FC Dallas is 2-2-1 in five preseason matches with last Friday's 3-1 win over DC United being the most recent.

Kickoff time: 7:00PM

Venue: Toyota Field, San Antonio, TX

Streaming: San Antonio's YouTube page

Previews: Plenty of decent preview material to get your ready for this one. We have our "What to Watch For" post up, so does the club's website.

Projected lineups: There have been reports that FC Dallas arrived in San Antonio late over night due to the weather that blew through North Texas on Friday. Because of that we should expect a fairly mixed group of starters and reserves for this game instead of the core group of players that we saw last weekend against D.C. United.

Prediction: Last week's match proved this club has a ton of tight in them even with being down a man for 70ish minutes. I would expect along with a top lineup from Pareja that it will push San Antonio more than we saw in last year's preseason match. FCD should win this one, let's call it a 2-1 win.

What are you drinking?: I'm enjoying a lovely Old Fashion tonight with some Basil Haden's whiskey. I may switch to some beer later on if things go sour. What about you?

Here you go, comment below. We'll be adding lineups and commentary as we go along here.
