Last year was a bit of a dream for Tesho Akindele. A relative unknown player before the 2014 SuperDraft, FC Dallas surprised everyone in selecting him in the first round.
The expectations of a first round pick are always lofty but no one really knew what to expect out of the Colorado School of Mines product. In the end, Akindele broke into the lineup in the late spring and never looked back as he rode a solid number of minutes (1748), goals (seven) and assists (three) to a MLS Rookie of the Year award.
So what can we expect in 2015? So far the year has been good to the Canadian-born striker. He earned his first United States men's national team call from Jurgen Klinsmann in January and is now looking to avoid the dreaded sophomore slump as the season comes up.
Just like with the other community predictions, we throw it up to you all. How will Tesho do in his second full season with FC Dallas? We're again looking for games started, played, goals and assists in 2015.
15 games started, 29 games played, 8 goals, 5 assists
