Things have been pretty good these last couple of seasons for Blas Perez. He has lead FC Dallas in scoring each of the last two seasons, with 11 goals in both seasons.
At 34-years old, Perez is one of the few veterans on this club that are past the 30. He continues to be a leader both on and off the field for this young squad.
But what should fans expect in his next season? Panama does have some games that will cause Perez to miss some time this summer in the Gold Cup. But outside those few games, can fans still expect the same output as the last two years? Will he be able to do more with a healthy Mauro Diaz? Or will the keys to the offense begin to go towards someone like Tesho Akindele? Can Perez stay out of trouble on the field and reduce the number of yellow and red cards that he picks up?
All fair questions to ask as we head into the 2015 season.
It is time for you to voice your opinion though. How do you think Perez will do in 2015? Remember, we're looking for games played, started, goals scored and assists.
