FC Dallas is back in action tonight as they face off against Columbus.

Who is ready for some soccer tonight? I know I am eager to see the ATX Pro Challenge this evening as FC Dallas battles Columbus. We'll have more on that game later on but first let us dive into some morning links.

Yeah, I always had a gut feeling their bid wasn't going to work but seeing that it was MLS that is basically turning Vegas down, I'd be curious to see if they are putting any other city on the chopping block next.

Juninho wants to suit up for the US |

Sometimes in cases like this I wish citizenship for guys like this wouldn't take as long as it does. But hey, that is how the system works. Still, the thought of Juninho in Jurgen Klinsmann's team is an intriguing one to say the least.

No we're not talking Miguel Ibarra, who will likely get sold to a Mexican team before long. We're discussing Christian Ramirez, a player who I really was hoping more MLS teams would take a run at this preseason. Well, that is off now since he will likely require a decent transfer fee.

Fox and Univision get 2026 World Cup TV rights | FIFA press

I think this has more to do with something brewing in the 2022 side of things than anything else. I heard reports yesterday evening that there may have been causes in the TV deals that allowed Fox and Univision to get the 2026 WCs if something changes to the 2022 WC. We'll see.
