Over the last couple of days, teams around the league have started making their off-season moves by declining and picking up options and getting a start to the 2016 campaign. Yesterday, we found out that Blas Perez will not be returning to FCD, despite him wanting to. Today the club announced the remaining of their roster moves heading into 2016.
Declined:
- Otis Earle
- Danny Garcia
- David Texeira
- Michel
Extended:
- Matt Hedges
- Atiba Harris
- Ryan Hollingshead
- Zach Loyd
- Je-Vaughn Watson
- Rolando Escobar
- Victor Ulloa
Acosta Re-Signs
The best news out of all this is that Dallas was able to re-sign Homegrown Legend Kellyn Acosta. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed and probably never will. Let's just enjoy that we get more Kellyn for the foreseeable future.
Zimmerman Offer
The wording is a bit unclear at the moment, but it appears that Walker Zimmerman's Generation adidas contract has expired and the club has offered him a deal. Now it's on Walker to decide if he wants to sign or not. (If I am in the wrong, please feel free to let me know. The league mechanisms for signing players is still relatively new to me.)
What do you guys think? Should Tex be brought back for less? If so, at what price do you think he's worth? Did Dallas give up too quickly on Garcia? Who's pissed that Atiba Harris will be back for 2016? Who's still sad about Blas Perez?
