Should FC Dallas retain Ezequiel Cirigliano?

Cirigliano was only featured in eight games for FCD in 2015.

The Christmas season is but the hot stove of rumors with FC Dallas are certainly heating up. On Christmas Day there were talks out of Argentina that midfielder Ezequiel Cirigliano's loan with FCD would be ending at the end of the month and that Club Atletico Lanus in Argentina would be his next destination.

Cirigliano's loan is through the end of December. So far he is the only player that has yet to be either released or re-signed by FC Dallas as the club has been weighing their options. His full contract with River Plate runs through the end of 2016. Dallas would either have to find a way to work out an extension on the loan for next season, buy his remaining portion of the contract in the January transfer window or allow him to return to Argentina when the loan expires.

Cirigliano did not get a lot of playing time in his short stay in Frisco. He arrived in the middle of the summer with a lot of hope and praise from the front office staff but he struggled to get playing time over the likes of Homegrown stars Kellyn Acosta and Victor Ulloa.

What do you make of Cirgiliano? Do you want to see him stick around for another season or are you good with FC Dallas parting ways with the young midfielder?
