The week is turning the corner towards the weekend today as we're inching closer towards the next draft in the MLS offseason.

The FCD youngsters went out with a bang to finish up the 2015 calendar year. It is always nice to beat some local rivals to end any year.
We're all not too happy with the outcome of this trade but allowing a guy like Dan to return home to LA is something I'm okay with since it means we got an emerging keeper in Jesse Gonzalez.

Yesterday was a rather large day in the league's history. For the first time, every club has a majority owner with no one owner dealing with multiple teams. I don't know about you all but it seemed fitting to drink to Uncle Lamar, Kraft and Phil last night when thinking about this. Oddly enough, this took place on Houston's 10th anniversary in MLS.
There had been talk of this trade for a few days now but yesterday it became official. Colorado is secretly stocking up on old Sounder players (they snagged one in a waiver draft last week).
New England has a bit of an issue of their own in their defense this offseason, they have to find out a way to either have Andrew Farrell at center back or at right back. He's oddly enough their best player in both positions.
The 2011 LA side won the double in MLS, something that has rarely happened in the league's short history. So were they that good or were they just lucky along the way?
So far we've had one signing in free agency but my gut tells me that things will begin to pick up after tomorrow's Re-Entry Draft stage two.
