We're halfway there to the weekend as there are only a couple more days before FC Dallas heads to Portland.

FCD lost five guys over the weekend to international duty, more than the Timbers had to deal with. Thankfully one of those guys wasn't Fabian Castillo. His Colombian side lost to Argentina yesterday.
This could easily be one of the more underrated elements of FCD's current run. Guys like Danny Garcia, Coy Craft and Alex Zendejas aren't getting minutes at the moment but they are learning from this playoff run which will be super big in years to come.

Boy, things sure are rocky in the Windy City. Nelson Rodriguez put his foot in his mouth recently and now people are talking about it.
I have to admit, I'm not as big of a fan of this move as I was when DCU traded for him earlier this year. Saborio is an aging forward that hasn't looked the same this season. Some of the commenters seem to think the same.
Awesome news to hear this for the young attacker. Ketuka Manneh continues to be one of those young players that I know would do wonders here in Dallas but I also think he would do some pretty good things on the international level too.
From the sound of things, Landon Donovan is regretting some moves he made in his career. That or he just doesn't want to see MLS players get the itch to potentially leave the league after being on loan.
Here is another post about last weekend's BlazerCon show. There are some interesting nuggets in this one.

Bad fields, along with some weird tactical changes in the lineup can lead to a rather 'meh' kind of game.
Sure the crossbar came into play a couple times for the US but overall there is still a lot of work to be done here.
It doesn't quite feel like it did in 2013 when the US was struggling in qualifying but this team certainly does need to find something next year as qualifying resumes in March.
