This time last year the club was dealing with the quick turn around that the knockout round makes you deal with. This year is a welcome break from that.

Sounders finally eliminate the Galaxy | Sounder at Heart

It has taken them a long time to get over their LA demons in the playoffs but Seattle finally did it last night in the Knockout Round in a 3-2 win. The game itself was a wild one with four goals in the first 25 minutes. Should Portland beat SKC tonight, FCD will be going back to Seattle this weekend.

Galaxy lack balance |

Crazy to think that back in the summer, the Galaxy looked so good when Steven Gerrard and Gio dos Santos arrived. Months later, they are a shell of that team. Also, what the heck has happened to Dallas-native Omar Gonzalez?

United move on thanks to Rolfe | Black and Red United

DCU also picked up a big win at home last night, downing New England. So, we now know that there won't be a chance for New England to be in the Cup final this year.
