I know this is a paid link for some of you but I'll do my best to sum it up. Basically, the Shield is New York's to lose, something I've been saying for a few weeks now. In the West, FCD has a 82% chance right now at a top two seed with that likely to increase with a win tonight. I'm also laughing at Houston's 2% chance to even make the playoffs.

Yet another black mark on the year last night for the US as they lost at home to Costa Rica in a friendly match. Yeah, I don't have too many words to describe that result.

Just the headline sums up how I feel these days about the national team. I mean, I just don't get excited for US game anymore.

The US looked better last night in Salt Lake as they downed Canada 2-0 in the third place game of Olympic qualifying but now they'll have to deal with Colombia in a two-game series next March to move on to Rio in the summer.
