Five Must-See Home Games in 2015 for FC Dallas fans

What are the big games that stand out in 2015?

Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

As most of you know by now, the MLS released the full 2015 schedules for each of it's clubs and we're gonna take a look at five FC Dallas games that must be attended this year (listed chronologically).

1. March 28 - Seattle Sounders

Revenge sure is sweet and the fourth match day of the year gives FCD the chance to exact some revenge on the team that knocked them out of the 2014 MLS Cup Playoffs. Seattle seems every bit as talented headed into 2015 as they were in 2014 so this is sure to be one of the year's bigger home games.

2. May 9 - Los Angeles Galaxy

This game marks the teams' first crack at the defending champions and when the Galaxy come to town, Toyota Stadium always seems to become one of the hottest tickets around DFW. This game is a must-attend especially with the news that LA has picked up long time Liverpool great Steven Gerrard.

3. July 4 - New England Revolution

This seasons' July 4th matchup should be great for a couple of reasons this year. First, the Independence Day game is always a sell-out and features one of North Texas' best fireworks shows after the game. Second, this will be the team's only home game against the defending Eastern Conference champions and Richardson-native Lee Nguyen.

4. September 12 - New York City FC

As the team comes down the stretch, newly-formed and Manchester City-backed NYCFC comes to town in their inaugural season and with them comes English great Frank Lampard. The club only travels once to Toyota Stadium and you can bet this one will be a hot ticket.

5. October 4 - Houston Dynamo

Of course, how could we exclude our little brother to the South, El Capitan counterpart and new Western Conference member Houston Dynamo on our list? The fall matchup is already slated to be televised nationally on ESPN2 and if history is any indicator, this one should pack quite a punch.

There you have it, five games that you must attend this year. Leave your thoughts on these games as well as any other key games facing the team this year. DTID!
