Dan Kennedy discusses his first week with FC Dallas

New, 1 comment

The new FCD keeper discusses his first full week with his new club.

Dan Kennedy came to FC Dallas during the offseason in the league's Dispersal Draft for Chivas USA. Now it is time to hear from him for the first time this preseason as FCDTV caught up with the new Dallas keeper to get his take on being with his new club.

Kennedy is in a big position battle right now with fellow MLS veteran Chris Seitz. He mentions how important the healthy competition with Seitz and Homegrown keeper Jesse Gonzalez is for him and the club. Some could argue he never really had any sort of competition over the years with Chivas USA.

Kennedy is looking to build relationships with his new teammates and to get the chemistry he needs with his back line. The veteran keeper also gives a lot of good comments on head coach Oscar Pareja.

Kennedy and FCD will travel to Florida on Sunday to train at the IMG Academy as well as play a couple preseason games.
