Blas Perez called into Panama national team for upcoming friendly against the US

As expected, Perez will join Panama head of the friendly against the USMNT.

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

When Panama comes calling, FC Dallas forward Blas Perez will pretty much always answer. That is once again the case as the FCD veteran was named to Panama's 21-man roster for the February 8th friendly against the United States in Los Angeles.

Perez will join his national team in California on Monday instead of traveling to Florida with FCD for their preseason camp at the IMG facilities.

Perez is one of three MLS players called into action by Colombian head coach Hernan Dario Gomez.

Hopefully FCD fans will be able to see Perez square off against teammate Matt Hedges, who is looking to earn his first US team cap.
