For the second straight season, FC Dallas will travel to San Antonio to take on NASL side San Antonio Scorpions in the preseason finale. FCD will square off with the NASL defending champions on Saturday, February 28, at Toyota Field.

The game is scheduled for 7pm with a sellout expected in the 2nd Annual deeproot Funds Cup. This will be the final tune up for FCD before they take on the San Jose Earthquakes in the March 7 season opener in Frisco.

Last year, the two sides played in front of a sellout crowd over nearly 8,000 people with the NASL side earning a late stoppage-time goal to earn the 1-1 draw.

"San Antonio is a high-quality organization with great leadership at the top in owner Gordon Hartman," said FC Dallas President Dan Hunt. "They're the defending NASL Champions. They'll be a great opponent for us. The game will be very competitive - an ideal match to help us prepare for our season-opener here in Dallas the following weekend."
