FC Dallas acquires Kyle Bekker from Toronto FC; officially signs Atiba Harris

A couple roster moves became official today.

We have all been waiting for some official moves to be made this offseason by FC Dallas and they finally came through today.

The club announced two deals today, the first being the trade of midfielder Kyle Bekker from Toronto FC. FCD sent an undisclosed amount of allocation money to Toronto in the deal.

Bekker was drafted third overall in the 2013 SuperDraft out of Boston College, where he scored 17 goals and added in 22 assists. His time in Toronto wasn't all that people hoped it would be for a number three overall draft pick. He only made 16 starts in 29 total appearances for the Reds. He is a member of the Canadian National Team however, where he has picked up 13 caps.

Bekker will occupy one of the open international roster slots that FCD has available.

The other move that FCD announced on Wednesday was the signing of Atiba Harris, whom they selected in the second stage of the 2014 Re-Entry Draft. Harris rejoins FCD after spending the last couple of seasons in Vancouver, Colorado, and San Jose.
