Another draft is in the books as FCD picked up two more players yesterday.

We are inching our way towards the start of the preseason camp. FC Dallas will start out things like most clubs next week. Until then lets get into some morning headlines.

Tesho enjoying life with the USMNT | ESPNFC.com

I missed this one yesterday but I think it was shared in the comments. Either way, another good write up on Tesho Akindele and how he is doing in California with the USMNT. Hopefully we can get some similar reports on captain Matt Hedges.

Bekker traded to Dallas | Waking the Red

This one came in late last night for us (and we'll have a full discussion on it later this morning), but Toronto is apparently trading midfielder Kyle Bekker to FCD. On first thought I'm not a fan of this trade, then I realize FCD has Oscar Pareja in charge and that immediately changes my thought on how this could work.

SuperDraft players vs Homegrown players, the size is the story | MLSSoccer.com

This is a very interesting discussion on the size of player that clubs are signing as HGPs against the size of players that they are drafting. A couple FCD guys get mentioned in this as well.

The real reason Kaka joined Orlando comes out | MLSSoccer.com

It turns out the dude just wanted to go to Disney World. All kidding aside, I hope we get to see the good side of Kaka in  MLS this year.

Third and fourth rounds finish up | Top Drawer Soccer

FCD picked up a couple of players but it was interesting to see how quickly this portion of the draft was handled. I believe it lasted all of 30 minutes. The most interested thing may be that defender Ramon Martin del Campo signed a MLS deal before the Combine, had a dreadful combine and then didn't get picked at all.

Sporting KC and Beiler agree to go separate ways | The Blue Testament

I definitely forgot all about Claudio Beiler and SKC. I didn't think he was a total flop, he did help them get to a MLS Cup after all in 2013. But he will likely go down as one of those DP flops.

Jozy happy to be home at US camp | ESPNFC.com

I think we'll see a completely new Jozy Altidore this year in Toronto. Which should be good for the USMNT as well.

Alright folks, that is all the time we have for the links right now. What do you have going on today?
