The third and fourth rounds of the MLS SuperDraft are all about finding a hidden gem or two. In the past, these rounds were the Supplemental Draft, which has yielded the likes of guys like Chris Wondolowski.
Today FC Dallas added two midfielders in the SuperDraft, picking up center back William Seymore from Oregon State University in the third round and Canadian-born midfielder Jaineil Hoilett.
Seymore played and started 20 games for the Beavers. Seymore holds duel citizenship between the US and England.
Hoilett is the brother of Junior Hoilett of Queens Park Rangers in the EPL. Last summer he and his brother trained with Toronto FC for a couple weeks. Hoillett spent time previously with the Blackburn Rovers academy and then bounced around Germany. He was one of a few late additions to this year's Combine.
It will tough to gage how much we should expect out of these two players. Nick Walker was a late round pick last year that made it through preseason and earned a contract for the year before being released at the end of the year.
