FC Dallas on Campus: Week 1 results

Bobby Edet continues to score goals for Furman.

Furman Athletics

The slew of FC Dallas academy players had a busy opening weekend of games.

Seniors

Boyd Okwuono (North Carolina) - He started and played 90 minutes in both matches last weekend, a 3-1 win over California and a 1-0 loss to UCLA.

Jack Coleman (Duke) - Coleman came off the bench and played 44 minutes in a 1-1 draw to Loyola. He then came off the bench in a big 8-2 win over Stetson.

Damian Rosales (SMU) - He did not play in either loss for the Mustangs over the weekend.

Juniors

Mikey Ambrose (Maryland) - He started and played the full 90 in both matches for Maryland, a 1-0 loss to Louisville and a 3-2 win over Coastal Carolina.

Aaron Guillen (Florida Gulf Coast) - He did not play in the 2-0 win over USF.

Mark Ashby (Harvard) - Harvard's season kicks off tomorrow.

Sophomores

Nicholas Rochowski (New Mexico) - Rochowski did not appear in the 1-0 win over Akron.

Caleb Underwood (SMU) - He did not see any action in the two losses over the weekend.

Marco Carrizales (SMU) - He started both matches this past weekend (3-0 loss to Michigan and a 1-0 loss to Michigan State).

Bobby Edet (Furman) - He scored two goals in Furman's 2-0 win over UC Santa Barbara. He also started in the 2-1 loss to Seattle.

Marco Ortiz (Furman) - He started in both matches for Furman, adding a couple shots on goal in the loss to Seattle.

Victor Portillo (Liberty) - He came off the bench in a 5-0 win over VMI. He did not appear in the win over Bluefield.

Fernando Laverde (Central Florida) - Laverde came off the bench in both losses for UCF to start the season.

Freshman

Kristoffer Reaves (Wake Forest) - He started in both losses to open the season, going the full 90 against UCLA.

Jordan Cano (SMU) - He started and played the full 90 in both losses over the weekend for SMU.

Abdul Yassine (SMU) - He came off the bench in both losses over the weekend.

Will Coleman (Liberty) - He started in the win over VMI and came off the bench against Bluefield.

Troy Reeves (Liberty) - He started both matches for Liberty over the weekend earning two assists, one in each match.

Cesar Murillo (College of Charleston) - He started and played the full 90 in both losses to open the season.
