FC Dallas on Campus: Week 4 results

Mark Ashby won the Ivy League Player of the Week award this past week.

The slew of FC Dallas academy players had a busy opening weekend of games.

Seniors

Boyd Okwuono (North Carolina) - Tough outing for the Tar Heels as they lost to rivals Duke 2-1. Okwuono played the full 90 in the loss.

Jack Coleman (Duke) - On the other end of the Duke-UNC rivalry was Coleman who also started and played the full 90. Unfortunately the Blue Devils couldn't maintain the momentum from the UNC win as they dropped a game to UNC Wilmington, Coleman played the full 90 in that one as well.

Damian Rosales (SMU) - The Mustangs won 2-0 over Oral Roberts. Rosales came off the bench and played 50 minutes in the win.

Juniors

Mikey Ambrose (Maryland) - Ambrose continues to start matches for the Terps. They lost 1-0 to Michigan State but they did follow that up with a win over Dayton 1-0.

Aaron Guillen (Florida Gulf Coast) - He started in all three matches this past week for FGCU.

Mark Ashby (Harvard) - Big week for Ashby and Harvard, picking up three wins. He was also named the Ivy League Player of the Week. He had two goals this past week, one against Hartford and another against Manhattan.

Sophomores

Nicholas Rochowski (New Mexico) - Rochowski did not appear in wins over Drexel or VCU.

Caleb Underwood (SMU) - He did not play in the win over Oral Roberts.

Marco Carrizales (SMU) -  He did not play in the win over Oral Roberts.

Bobby Edet (Furman) - He started in the 0-0 draw with Kentucky.

Marco Ortiz (Furman) - He started in the 0-0 draw with Kentucky.

Victor Portillo (Liberty) - He came off the bench in both matches for Liberty last week.

Fernando Laverde (Central Florida) - He did not appear in the 4-2 loss to Indiana.

Freshman

Kristoffer Reaves (Wake Forest) - He started and played the full 90 2-0 loss to Virginia Tech. He followed that up with a start and 58 minutes in a 7-0 blowout win over VMI.

Jordan Cano (SMU) - He stared and played the full 90 in the win over Oral Roberts, including scoring one goal in the win.

Abdul Yassine (SMU) - He started and played 48 minutes in the win over Oral Roberts.

Will Coleman (Liberty) - He did not start in the loss to Davidson but he returned to the line up in the win over Howard.

Troy Reeves (Liberty) - He started in both matches for Liberty this past week.

Cesar Murillo (College of Charleston) - Their game with Furman was postponed.
