Time to dive into a new month as FC Dallas is gearing up for Real Salt Lake again.

I totally missed this one late last week. We have a nice little story on Victor Ulloa and how he has improved so much this season. Depending how on things end up this season, I may argue that he is the club's best story this year.

TFC turn down record deal for Defoe |

Yesterday was transfer deadline day and boy was there some nervous moments in Toronto. In the end Jermain Defoe remains in a red uniform as the club passed on what was said to be a very large transfer fee.

Boy, the guys up in Toronto have had a fun couple of days here. Firing their coaching staff, nearly selling their top striker. Crazy thing is, they're still in playoff contention these days in the weaker Eastern Conference.

Can Donovan break the all-time assist mark? |

Only a few more assist to go but with that remaining schedule and the hot streak LA is on at the moment, I think Landon Donovan will break that record.

Kamara won't play in MLS in 2014 |

I sort of assumed that this would be the case but Peter Vermes pretty much confirmed that no one in MLS will get Kei Kamara this year.
