Blas Perez's weird angle goal up for MLS Goal of the Week

The wild angled goal from Perez is one of the five nominees for MLS Goal of the Week.

If you didn't get enough of Blas Perez's wild-angled shot over the weekend that helped lift FC Dallas over the Vancouver Whitecaps, it is now up for the league's Goal of the Week.

Perez took a throw in from Je-Vaughn Watson in the first half, headed it back to Watson, who then played him in on the wing against one Whitecap defender. Perez then turned the impossible into the possible with a wild cross turned goal. That goal was Perez's seventh on the season, he would go on to score the game-winner in the second half for his eighth of the year.

The competition is pretty tough this week as Perez goes up against a great run and finish by New England's Lee Nguyen, Seattle's Lamar Neagle's strike, Columbus' Wil Trapp's first career goal and Portland's Diego Valeri's goal against Colorado.

Voting runs until 11:59 pm PT on Thursdays. Head over to the voting page to give Perez your vote.
