FC Dallas on Campus: Week 2 results

Plenty of good moments for the Academy players in week 2.

The slew of FC Dallas academy players had a busy opening weekend of games.

Seniors

Boyd Okwuono (North Carolina) - Two straight shutout wins over VCU and Old Dominion. Boyd played the full 90 in both wins.

Jack Coleman (Duke) - Coleman came off the bench and played 51 minutes in a 3-1 loss to SMU. He then started and scored one goal in a 3-1 win over Temple.

Damian Rosales (SMU) - He did not play in the 3-1 win over Duke.

Juniors

Mikey Ambrose (Maryland) - A rough week for the Terps as they drew UMBC 0-0, Ambrose started that in that one. Maryland then lost a shocker to Navy, 2-1. Ambrose again started in that one.

Aaron Guillen (Florida Gulf Coast) - He started in both draws to Portland and Akron.

Mark Ashby (Harvard) - Two straight losses to open the season for Harvard against Georgetown and George Washington. Ashby started in both matches.

Sophomores

Nicholas Rochowski (New Mexico) - Rochowski did not appear in either match against UC Riverside or UCLA.

Caleb Underwood (SMU) - He did not play in the 3-1 win over Duke.

Marco Carrizales (SMU) -  He did not play in the 3-1 win over Duke.

Bobby Edet (Furman) - He started in both wins over North Florida and Georgia State. He scored one goal against George State in a 5-0 beating.

Marco Ortiz (Furman) - He started in both matches for Furman, adding one goal and one assist in the 5-0 win over Georgia State.

Victor Portillo (Liberty) - He came off the bench in a 2-2 draw to Marshall.

Fernando Laverde (Central Florida) - Laverde started in the 1-0 win over Florida Atlantic.

Freshman

Kristoffer Reaves (Wake Forest) - He started and played 41 minutes in a 4-1 loss to Cal. He then started and played the full match in a 2-1 OT win over UConn. Reaves followed that up with a start and 68 minutes in a 4-1 win over Cleveland State.

Jordan Cano (SMU) - He started and played the full 90 in the 3-1 win over Duke.

Abdul Yassine (SMU) - He started and played 59 minutes in the 3-1 win over Duke.

Will Coleman (Liberty) - He started in the 2-2 draw to Marshall.

Troy Reeves (Liberty) - He started in the 2-2 draw to Marshall and had one goal.

Cesar Murillo (College of Charleston) - He started and played the full 90 in a 2-0 win over Georgia State. He then played the full 90 in a 4-0 win over North Florida.
