FC Dallas Injury Update: The usual suspects and who else?

FC Dallas heads into the RSL match tomorrow night with some slight updates to the injury report.

You really do have to love how the injury reports go in this league. The game notes are out for tomorrow's game between FC Dallas and Real Salt Lake, and while we know of some players that are hurt only three remain on the 'official report'.

Out: George John (right knee), Hendry Thomas (ACL tear), Chris Seitz (quad tear)

Yes, just those three on the official report, which teams have to submit to the league by Tuesday for whatever it is worth.

So what about updates on Mauro Diaz, Stephen Keel, Adam Moffatt, Walker Zimmerman, and Moises Hernandez?

One thing we do know from Steve Hunt is that Keel is likely out for a least a few games if not longer.

Hunt also gives us an update on Zimmerman, which doesn't sound promising at all for this week.

Diaz is thankfully only dealing with hamstring tightness and not any knee issues according to the club. I would still be a bit shocked if he played a large role in Friday's game though. An appearance off the bench sounds about right.

There wasn't any update given on Moffat at this time. I was told that he did not practice today so that may be an indication as to where things stand with him though he did make the bench last week in San Jose. I'd expect more of that this week.

And lastly, Hernandez has been back in training this week, doing light work on the side. Just like Diaz, I'd be a little shocked to see him featured against RSL tomorrow.

The club did get some positive news this week regarding newly acquired center defender Walter Cabrera, his P1 visa has been issues, now the club is waiting on his passport to arrive. It is possible he could at least make the bench tomorrow but I think we'll definitely see him on the field in the near future with this club.
