Do it folks, go vote now!!

We've seen the growth of Tesho Akindele over these last few weeks for FC Dallas. Last Friday a big part of that growth was seen on the big stage as he had a wonderful goal in the 2-1 win over the Philadelphia Union.

Blas Perez chipped in the perfect ball to Akindele at the top of the penalty box, the young rookie took the ball with a first time volley that beat Philadelphia keeper Zac MacMath. Some were saying this goal was very similar to the one Julian Green scored on Belgium last week in the World Cup.

The competition won't be easy for Akindele to win this week. Erick Torres from Chivas USA scored a ridiculous game-winner over the weekend against Montreal. Sebestian Fernandez had a nice game-winner over rivals Seattle as well on Saturday. Elsewhere, Nick DeLeon had a solid strike in the win over Toronto. And to round out the voting, Diego Valeri had a thunderous strike in the draw against LA.

Voting runs until 11:59 pm PT on Thursdays. For complete coverage of the AT&T MLS Goal of the Week. Click here to vote now!!
