What does FCD have lined up following the trade of Andrew Jacobson?

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

Yesterday was a bit of a ride with the news of FC Dallas trading Andrew Jacobson and the Real Madrid-Roma game. We're at the midway point in our week so lets get down to some morning links.

FC Dallas practicing patience with Texeira | Soccerly

Between injuries and learning how to play in MLS, it has been a long few months for David Texeira. I keep forgetting that he is still very young too.

Pareja on the Jacobson trade |

Just like I mentioned yesterday, it opened up a ton of cap room to allow the club to make some other moves this summer.

Thankfully it did not. But it did land elsewhere nearby. Wild weather every where right now.

Donovan feels like he is back again |

Again I say, he is one of the most dangerous players when he is on his game. Not to mention his club scares to crap out of me at the moment.

LA trades Kofi Opare for number three allocation spot | LAG Confidential

FCD still sits above the Galaxy in the Allocation order but you have to wonder what they have cooking if they moved up this much.

Chicago courting Jones |

I will try to talk more about this later on here but teams are lining up to get Jermaine Jones as a DP here this summer. It will take a lot for FCD to join that party.

There have been talks apparently between the two sides but nothing to show for...yet.

Is Zac MacMath improving? | Brotherly Game

It sounds like either MacMath or rookie Andre Blake are on the trading block for the Union. Crazy how they continue to go after a goalkeeper when they draft them and also have one of the best young college keepers in their academy system. My wonder is, would FCD be in the mix for MacMath had they not brought Richard Sanchez back for the remainder of the season.

But apparently Ben Olsen isn't wanting to talk about it.
