The Brazilians begin their quest to win the World Cup on their home turf today as they play Croatia in the opening match of the World Cup.

The World Cup is finally here for us all to enjoy. Brazil and Croatia get us started off today in the first match of the tournament.

Brazil looks to start their quest for their sixth world championship while the Croatians are hoping to spoil the fun just a bit. São Paulo, Brazil is the place to be today as Luiz Felipe Scolari hopes to lean on the likes of Neymar, Oscar and other big names against a solid Croatian side that could be a dark-horse team in this group. One bummer for the Croatians is that they will be missing key striker Mario Mandzukic due to a suspension.
